This past weekend I had the opportunity to take my first maternity photos! This was by far the most entertaining session I have had yet. Mommy-to-be “S” and her hilarious hubby “B” kept us laughing the entire time. I have known “S” for a long time now, we met when we worked at the vet together years ago. “S” and “B” have been together right around 10 years and are expecting their first child at the beginning of April. I had a hard time picking out my favorites from the day, so I might have overdone my photo display below, but that is ok, right?

They live on an old farm, which made for lots of great photo opportunities for me:
Meet Harry. He is very protective of his mommies baby bump and insisted in being allowed in one photo:
And this was where the session took an unexpected turn. Daddy was determined to talk us into letting him use his guns as props, and he wasn’t taking no for an answer. So, after much convincing, we agreed and let him have his way:
And as you can tell “S” was just thrilled about this whole idea (as she is eyeballing the road to make sure no cars are driving by):
